Abstract
Objectives: To assess the best time and type of intervention for infantile haemangiomas and to assess the cosmetic and psychological outcomes. Background: Hemangiomas are the most common tumors in infancy and childhood, accounting for 7% of benign soft tissue tumors. Although the indications for surgical intervention in patients with infantile haemangioma during the proliferation and early involution are controversial, it is considered in certain cases. Patients and Methods: Thirty patients (3 boys and 27 girls) were surgically treated from 2020 to 2022. Results were evaluated by scarring and resolution of the functional problem.
