Abstract
Objectives: to compare the efficacy of laparoscopic and open surgery in the treatment of recurrent inguinal hernias following open surgery. Methods: a randomized clinical trial that involved 60 cases of both genders, who were previously operated for inguinal hernia in an open repair.
